Nanmwa Bongdul – one of the victims of the Fulani attack on Kwata settlement, Zawan was laid to rest in Nban, Langtang North LGA, today amidst heart touching eulogies and tributes to his gentle spirit.

In some of the notable tributes, he was described as a generous and kind hearted soul who opened his arms freely to gave to anyone who was in need. His friends and colleagues from Government Science School, where he graduated in 1997, described Nanmwa (popularly referred to as Bongs) – as a humble, gentle, loyal and forthright individual – who was immensely popular with everyone. “He was hardly involved in conflict, trouble or controversy and was alway a peace maker. He will be immensely missed.

Bongs, graduated from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria in 2005 and had sojourned in the Kwata area of Zawan with his family, until he met his untimely death.

He is survived by his mother, Brothers, sisters and other wider relatives.
