The Plateau State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) has spent N212 million to renovate classrooms in the past four years. This was disclosed by the Chairman of the board Mrs Lyop Mang when she spoke to newsmen in Jos.
She said that the board embarked on the project in addition to the ongoing 94 school renovation project worth N872 million. Mang said that N212million was allocated for 225 primary schools and 84 junior secondary schools in addition to furnishings of the schools.

The Chairman reiterated that quality of education will be taken serious and Government will do all it takes to improve the educational sector. She said that the Government was working to improve on the infrastructure of specialist institutions in the state.
