The Mwaghavul Development Association (MDA) North America Branch has congratulated the gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Barrister Caleb Mutfwang for emerging victorious at the just concluded Governorship primaries of the PDP in Jos, the Plateau State Capital.

The congratulatory message was contained in a statement signed by the Vice President of the group Zillang Yau. They congratulated Mutfwang for running a spirited campaign and subsequently emerging as the gubernatorial candidate of the PDP.

As a proud body of Mwaghavul brothers and sisters in North America, they rejoiced and joined with Mwaghavul people in diaspora and
back home in Mwaghavul land.

According to the statement,they expressed profound gratitude to God Almighty for recognizing
Mwaghavul as a people and for choosing Barr Mutfwang to carry the Mwaghavul
pride into the general elections in 2023.

The statement also noted that “MDA North America is very proud of your accomplishments in what initially appeared as a
daunting task crowded with many candidates.The political terrain you have walked through thus far has been difficult, but you
ultimately emerged victorious because the people utilized your impeccable record as a guide and reached the conclusion that you
are the man they can trust.”

They stressed that the PDP “…did not make a mistake by endorsing you for this exalted position
because of your track record as a former local government chairman
speaks volumes in your ability to deliver results.”

The statement concluded thus that “The Mwaghavul
people all over the globe could not be any prouder of their former local government chairman. MDA North America is keenly aware that there is still more work ahead to get you to the state house. As a result, we will work closely with you to achieve your aspirations and occupy the office of the
governor of Plateau State Jos, come 2023. You deserve this, because
you’ve earned it. congratulations on your huge win in the primary
election!”
