The Women Wing of Mupun Cultural and Development Association (MUCDA Women Wing) paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman, Local Government Service Commission, Chief Simon Tangni in his office on Tuesday 12th August, 2025. A statement made available to this medium by the Public Relations Officer of MUCDA Women Wing noted that the visit was to congratulate Chief Tangni, identify with him as a father, appreciate him for influencing development to Mupunland and seek areas of collaboration for continuous positive impact on the lives of the people and attract expansionary developments to more communities.

According to the statement, the President of MUCDA Women Wing, Mrs Mildred Kwarkas who led the delegation noted that they are proud to identify with Chief Simon Tangni as one of their own. She took time to appreciate some of the great achievements and successes recorded since Chief Tangni assumed office. Other members who spoke during the visit echoed the accolades given to the Chairman and highlighted that the Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang led Plateau State government must be very proud of having him in the team.

Responding, Chief Tangni appreciated the women for the visit and was happy to be honoured in that manner as one of their own. He gave glory to God and appreciated Governor Mutfwang for giving him the platform to serve humanity. He advised the women to intensify their unity beyond identity as the surest gateway to solidify sustained collaborative efforts. The visit was concluded with an intercessory prayer for the Chairman to continue to record significant milestones.
