The women wing of Mupun Cultural and Development Association (MUCDA Women Wing) has in its series of engagements with leaders and stakeholders, paid visits to former presidents of Mupun Cultural and Development Association (MUCDA) National Body. The latest in the series of former presidents visited were Rev. Prof. Justin La-nibetle, Hon. Dr. Nanle Dashen and Chief Pedro Ardiyel Dafur.
A statement made available by the president of MUCDA Women Wing indicates that the meetings were strategic means of leveraging on the wealth of knowledge and experiences of the past presidents. According to her, these leaders are illustrious sons who have made indelible contributions to the growth and development of the Mupun nation.


















The statement noted that each of the leaders were able to share their experiences, offering words of wisdom, encouragement, caution and counselling with a promise to mentor and nurture the association. It further emphasized that the visits were “profoundly impactful, yielding valuable insights that will shape women wing’s trajectory to unprecedented heights”.


In the meantime, the team paid a special visit to Engr. Abednego Dafyak “to acknowledge his contributions to the Mupun nation and beyond and also to explore opportunities for collaboration and growth”. The MUCDA women’s wing president’s statement revealed that the discussion with Engr. Dafyak “centered on potential areas of support including mentorship, capacity building and economic empowerment initiatives”.




During the visit to Engr. Dafyak, the president of MUCDA Women Wing highlighted some of their initiatives which includes the production of MUCDA uniform (wrappers) for the sons and daughters of the Mupun nation.

The visits featured memorable photographs, praises and worship to the Almighty for his goodness and mercies to the Mupun nation.
