Report just reaching viewpointnigeria indicates that a yet-to-be-identified woman has taken to her heels after allegedly clubbing her seven year-old-son to death in Warri, Delta State.

The woman, who is a resident of Agbarha community where the incident occurred is said to be on the run on discovering that her son is dead.

While many resident of the community are still in shocked and wondering what could be the reasons why a woman who carried a child in her womb for 9 months and went through the pains of giving birth will later turn to displace such wicked act.

Viewpointnigeria gathered that the incident happened in the evening hours of Monday, June 15, 2020.

While showing empathy on the issue, some residents said that the reason the woman flogged her son was still unknown.

A section of the residents, however, conjectured that the act was the handiwork of the devil, wondering why a mother could flog her son to death.
