University of Jos in Plateau state is set to immortalise the Late Dan Maraya Jos who died on Saturday 20TH June 2015 after a protracted illness.

The Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Hayward Mafuyai said so when he in the company of the university management staff paid a condolence visit to the late musician home.

Mafuyai added that Late Dan Maraya Jos whose real name was Adamu Wayya was a moral crusader who influenced people across the globe. He added that the university has always held him with high esteem.

Responding on behalf of the late musician’s family, Alhaji Kuchili Yusuf said that the Late Dan Maraya was a man who embraced all regardless of ethnicity or faith. He added that he remained humble till he died and never allowed fame change his philosophy in life.
