He said: “The entire Taroh nation is happy with the peaceful conduct of the election and awaiting the swearing-in of Chief Dan Dul.

The PLASIEC, which is the unbiased umpire, announced a re-run in Jat Ward thereby shooting itself in the leg, having earlier announced and returned Chief Dan Dul of DPP as the winner.

“The umbrella body of Concerned Taroh Youths Forum earnestly ask the Governor of Plateau State to swear in Chief Dan Dul of the DPP as the duly elected chairman of Langtang North in the just concluded local government election on the Plateau, in the interest of peace and unity in the locality.”

The body also called on PLASIEC not to go against the law and to henceforth announce and issue a Certificate of Return to Chief Dan Dul of DPP in the interest of justice and fair play.
