Lalong takes oath of office for the second term amidst supporters

The 29th of may is historical in the political journeys of Nigeria, it is also a date that leadership ritual of transition takes centre stage from the presidency to state governments.

The out going and elected governor Barr. Simon Bako Lalong and his deputy, Prof. Sonny tyoden takes oath of office as administered by the cheif justice of the state, justice Yakubu Gyang Dakwak

Monsignor Gotau admonish all other contestants to join hands with the elected for the development of the state. He calls on the governor elect to return back the missionaries schools back to the church to boost education, as he says that students who go into schools turn out worst hence, drastic action be taken.

To this end, the clergy advocates that “only a plateau United can fight the enemy within and enemy without”
