News at ViewPointNigeria’s desk indicates that Governor Simon Lalong has reduced the fees for land title acquisition by 50 percent to enable the citizens of the state to acquire land titles with ease.
The Governor disclosed this during the one-day sensitization program tagged: “Community participation in urban development,” organized by the Jos Hausa and Jasawa Community leaders held at Jos Central Mosque.
The Governor who was represented by the Plateau State Commissioner for Lands and Survey, Barrister Festus Fwanter disclosed that he has given directive for the reduction of 50 percent on any request for the ownership of lands titles, and has given the Ministry of Lands and Survey target of at least 100 request of lands titles for approvals daily.
Lalong said that though urban development has both technical and political challenges, his administration will work hard to ensure that the state is developed.
