APC governorship Candidate, Simon Lalong has pick a former guber aspirant on the platform of the PDP, Professor Sonny Tyoden as his
running mate.

Tyoden, a former VC of the University of Jos, is from the Central zone just like Yilji Gomwalk, the running mate of PDP governorship
candidate, Senator Pwajok.

The Chairman of APC in the State, Latep Dabang, said, Tyoden was chosen because “He has proven himself as a true democrat of repute.

Tyoden who decamped from PDP after losing the Party’s ticket to Senator Pwajok said he decided to defect, “to the APC because of the
injustice that was meted on them during the PDP primaries”.
