News reaching ViewPointNigeria indicates that the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong has approved the immediate dissolution of all political appointments of the immediate past administration.

In a press statement signed and released to ViewPointNigeria by the Press Secretary of the Governor and signed by the Secretary to the State Government; Hon. Rufus Bature, he said “All Chief Executives, Chairmen and Members of Commissions, Boards & Parastatals, whose appointments are Political in nature stand dissolved (except for appointments which are statutory in nature)”.

The statement further directed that all affected appointees, hand over all paraphernalia of their Agencies including Government properties in their possession immediately to the most Senior Officer/personnel in the parastatal.

In closing, it said the Executive Governor thanks all the appointees for their service to Plateau state and wished them success in their future endeavours.
