All Progressive Congress APC stalwart in Plateau state , Alhaji Nagelu Garba on Saturday castigated the Peoples Democratic Party PDP over its claim of been robbed of the Plateau Governorship elections saying the Plateau Governorship poll was free and fair .
He also said the Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau State, Jeremiah Useni is only wasting his time as he seeks to approach the tribunal to challenge the result of the election because Gov Lalong won the election describing the Governorship election as free and fair .
It could be recalled that Useni in a press conference rejected the outcome of the Plateau governorship election and promised to reclaim his mandate at the election tribunal.
Similarly Yiljap Abraham, the Chairman
Media and Publicity of the PDP in a statement made available to newsmen in Jos further reads that the legal team of the Plateau PDP State Campaign Council has commenced filing petitions before the two tribunals set up to hear cases related to the national assembly, gubernatorial and state constituency elections conducted in the state.
Reacting to the statement in Jos Alhaji Nagelu said that Useni shouldn’t go to court because Governor Simon Lalong won his second term in a free, fair and credible election.,it would be pure waste of time.
He said, “The news that Governor Lalong won his second term didn’t come to me as a surprise, because right from time Lalong was a God’s made, he came full of goodwill and has improved the condition of Plateau state. He won free, fair and credible and he is going to excel in his second term.”
Lalong has done well for Plateau people and they are with him .
Useni would just waste his money and time by going to the tribunal .
I am confident that Lalong would come out victorious because he won the election and the people of the state are with him .
I call on the people of the state to continue to support the APC at all times. .
