Press Statement

A Dirge by Kumshin Joel

I received with shock the home call of my King, Nda Wesley Mulak lll Long Mhiship and the chairman Pankshin/Kanke joint traditional council.

Oh death! You took away our king at a time we needed him most. This colossal loss has created a vacuum that grieves our hearts and flow unending tears in our eyes. As believers, we cannot question God for what has happened; we only ask for mercy when our time is up.

Nda, as you join our ancestors, we will greatly miss your kind advise and unfathomable wisdom in handling issues especially promoting peace and unity within our land and beyond. As we ask for mercy, may God grant you eternal rest till we meet to part no more.

On behalf of my family, I pray God to comfort us all and give us the fortitude to bear the loss.

Rest in peace my dear King.
