News reaching us suggest that the gunmen who kidnapped Mr Dariye Dafweng, father of Sen. Joshua Dariye, from his Mushere home on Saturday night, have demanded 10 million dollars for his release.

Major General David Enetie, Commander of the Special Task Force (STF) in Plateau told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on sunday, that the kidnappers had made contact with the family of Papa Dariye and that they demanded the ransom. He also confirmed that they had left numbers for communication.
