The festivities were off to a great start in Kangke LGA as Kefas Wungak Ropshik (aka Kefiano – the Managing Director of Kefiano Autos & Owner/CEO of “Chillers Portakabin”) donated several bags of rice to widows and the less privileged in the Kangke locality.
Community leaders who received the donation expressed happiness at the gesture and prayed God to bless the charitable act – whilst also praying that God replenishes his reserves a thousand fold.
Kefiano who has traditionally been in the business of auto-trading and hospitality management has long been touted as one of Plateau’s gifted entrepreneurs.
As such, this new act of charity adds a different dimension to how he is perceived within Plateau and brings more credibility to his other ventures.
ViewPointNigeria Analysis
A commendable act of charity by Kefas Ropshik. The donations will go a long way to alleviate the “real” challenges of widows and the less privileged in these trying times.
Even though these acts of handing-out supplies is a bit dated in Nigeria’s current polity, it will be fondly remembered by the beneficiaries and undoubted will lend political value to Kefas in the short term.
