JUST IN: The Jos division of Federal High Court, has DSIMISSED the pre-election suit, filed by a governorship aspirant, Danyaro Dakon Sarpiya, against the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), challenging the emergence of Nentawe Yilwatda as governorship candidate of the APC

The Jos Division of the Federal High Court on Saturday dismissed the suit filed by Dr. Danyaro Sarpiya. Sarpiya instituted the matter immediately after Gubernatorial primary conducted in and sought for the disqualification of the winner, Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda on the basis that the Gubernatorial Primary that was conducted on 26th May, 2022 was not in consonance with the Electoral Act, the Guidelines of the APC as well as the Constitution.  

Hon. Justice Dorcas Agishi dismissed the suit for lacking in merit.
