It was a cheering news to the supporters of Hon. Rotshak Gideon Yokden, the supposed flag bearer of the APC in Pankshin LGA for the chairmanship position of Pankshin as a high court sitting in Pankshin on Wednesday, 29th Sept, 2021 restrains the APC and PLASIEC from recognizing any candidate as the flag bearer of the APC in the elections.
The supporters of Hon. Rotshak Gideon Yokden who is unarguably the supposed flag bearer based on the outcome of the primaries were all excited and described the decision of the court as timely as it will go a long way in reaffirming the power of the majority.
They expressed confidence in the court and called on the APC and PLASIEC to abide by the decision of the court just as the PDP has respected the judgement of the court which restrains the party from participating in the forthcoming local government elections.

Addressing mammoth supporters and well wishers at the high court in Pankshin after the injunction issued by the court, the supposed flag bearer, Hon. Rotshak Gideon Yokden and the Popular Hon. Gabriel Abafaras thanked the people of Pankshin for keeping faith with them despite the fact that their mandate was forcefully taken away from them and given to a less popular candidate who came last in the primary elections. They encouraged their supporter to keep believing in the process with the hope that justice will be served and their mandates will be reclaimed.
