The Jos Repertory Theatre (JRT), an independent not-for-profit organisation which seeks to use theatre to confront challenging issues in our society, will be holding its 7th “Festival of Theatre” in Jos. The event will take place from Saturday 23rd February to Friday 1st of March 2013 and follows on from the last edition which was held in February 2012.

The 2013 edition is titled “Challenging perceptions”, which according to the festival director, Patrick Jude-Oteh, was aptly named to reflect the series of conflicts, which have be-devilled the city of Jos. He said it is hoped that theatre can be used to discuss and illustrate some of the problems that have affected the city.
