Brig.-Gen. Benjamin I Ahanotu has assumed office as the acting General Officer Commanding (GOC) 3 Division of the Nigerian Army in Jos, Plateau state.

Brig.-Gen. Ahanotu who was transferred from Armed Forces Simulation Centre, Jaji, Kaduna State took over from Major General Peter J Dauke who was transferred to 81 Division of Nigerian Army in Lagos.

During the handing over ceremony at 3 Division of Nigerian Army Maxwell Khobe Cantonment in Jos yesterday, the outgoing GOC, Maj-Gen. Dauke, enjoined officers of the Division to put in their best towards ensuring that everything goes in accordance.

In his remarks, Brig.-Gen. Ahanotu urged the officers of the division to give him maximum cooperation.
