The Chief Executive Officer of John Pofi Foundation Amb. John Pofi has strongly condemned the killings of innocent people in Ancha community, Miango, Bassa Local Government area of Plateau state by suspected fulani herdsmen on Thursday the 7th of September 2017. In a press statement made available to ViewPointNigeria, Amb. Pofi said “This is a senseless act of man’s inhumanity to man. We must always acknowledge the sanctity of human life and dignity. As an NGO committed to peace building, we submit that if there was a pending problem, it should have been resolved through dialogue and other diplomatic means. Carrying weapons against your fellow human beings is not only wicked but condemnable.” The message reads in part. Chief Pofi further calls on security personnel to swing into action and arrest as well as prosecute the perpetrators and sponsors of terror to serve as a deterrent to other criminally minded elements. While sympathizing with the victims, Mr. Pofi calls on spirited individuals to assist them with relief materials in order to make life comforting for better.
