JINGS COMMENDS NIGERIAN POLICE,CHARGES APPLICANTS TO PREPARE FOR NEXT PHASE OF SCREENING.

So far a total of Nine Thousand Four Hundred and Twelve(9,412) applicants out of the about Eleven Thousand(11,000) candidates who applied for Constable Recruitment into the Nigeria Police Force across the seventeen Local Government Areas of Plateau State have been screened.

This was disclosed to news men in Jos by the Commissioner Representing Plateau State at the Federal Character Commission Mr Stephen Jings at the end of the exercise at the Plateau State Police Headquarters in Jos.

Jings revealed that so far the exercise has been a success and commended the recruitment officials from the Force Headquarters led by Deputy Commissioner of Police,DCP Fom Pam for a job well done, adding that the process has been hitch free and transparent.

He said from this point, the next stage will be the Computer Based Test (CBT) by those successfully screened at a date soon to be announced by the Police Authorities.

Jings enjoined all the successfully screened applicants to prepare for that aspect of the exercise,saying as a monitoring body the Commission will perform it’s role of ensuring merit and equity in what has been allocated to Plateau State.

He however cautioned applicants not to fall into the hands of fraudulent persons who may come to them under the guise of helping them.
