The immediate past Governor of Plateau and presently the senator representing the norther zone of the state, Da Jonah Jang has commiserated with the state traditional institution over the demise of Ngolong Ngas, Nde Joshua Dimlong.

Jang who said so in a condolence message to the Chairman of the Plateau State Council of Chiefs, Da Jacob Gyang Buba said that late Dimlong’s death was painful and that he was committed to peace and progress of the state during his lifetime.

The former governor stated further that he was shocked by the death announcement of the monarch who played an active role in the Plateau State Traditional Council most especially during crisis periods. He said that the seventeen years reign of the monarch was a blessing to the state as “he brought a very mature vibrancy into the traditional institution.”
