Plateau state Governor Da Jonah Jang has called on citizens of Plateau to live in peace with one another. A statement signed by the director of Press Affairs Government house Jos, Mr James Mannok urged Christians to use the Easter season to focus on the teaching of Christ and live an exemplary life worth emulation.

He said with Easter, the death of a believer was an eternal gain and not a loss. Jang encouraged Christians and people of the state to promote peaceful co-existence and good neighbourliness while focusing on the teaching of Jesus Christ who came and died to save man. He said that the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ brought salvation to mankind while calling on people to reflect on their acts.

The Governor stated further that people should respect the sanctity of life and always be grateful to the Almighty who has provided abundant resources for all. He charged citizens of the state to be supportive of his administration as everything humanly possible was being done to improve their lives and transform the state.
