Leader of the group and former leader of the legislative arm of Jos North Local government council,Hon. John Izang,the event to honour the SGS as a worthy son of Izere is due to his track records as the former chairman of Jos North,he was able to torch the lives of people positively,The Elders of the group led by Engineer Stephen Igyem Inyam and Elder Musa Itse presented a congratulatory card to the SGS. According to them,the card is a symbol of loyalty and support for the Lalong’s administration by the Izere people.He is a peace builder.They urged the federal and state governments to establish state police that will partner with the traditional rulers and promote peace in the society. Also delivering their separate speeches of congratulations,the management committee chairman of Jos North local government council,Hon.Philip Inyam Izang,represented by his Special Adviser on media and protocol,Comrade I.I Jos,salute the Afizere Unity Forum for honoring one of their own and pledge his commitment to the Izere nation and Plateau,Inyam sued for peaceful co existent among the people of the locality.Former Speaker of the state house of assembly,Rt.Hon.Peter Ajang Azi,Admonished the Izere people to learn how to critise their leaders in a positive way instead of back biting and sabotage their efforts,he commended the plateau state governor,Rt.Hon. Simon Bako Lalong for appointing the erudite scholar,he has made them proud in upliftghting the standard of education in the country. In his respond,the SGS,Professor Danladi Abok Atu said without the Afizere Unity Forum,he wouldn’t have being where he Is today iam proud of you people and I will not dissapoint you. We should see Plateau holistically as one. My role as the SGS is to drive the policy of the government. The Rescue administration have lofty policies for the people of Plateau and desirous to take the state to the next level.The three pillar policies of the Administration is hinged into three pillar policies and one of these policies is Peace,security and good governance.No government will succeed without Peace,violence destroy development.We in Jos north has experience violence.As a nation,we should promote peaceful co existence,so many writers has describe Izere as peaceful people. He urge the people of Plates state to use the advantage of the livestock transformation plan of Federal government,the programme Is not only for those rearing cattles but other animals are inclusive. The honoured giving to me today is great and I cannot forget in my life.
