The Honourable member representing Kanke constituency Jacob Kassam commended the Izere poeple for leaving and co-existing peacefully with their neighbors, he stated this during the annual Izere Women celebration and freewill donation toward building project of her secretariat and multi purpose hall. He futher buttress that he loves Izere culture the celebration be sustained and transfer to the next generation, the occasion was also core chaired by Hon.Ezikiel Afon member representing Pengana constituency also identified with the Izere women, he described culture as an identity and atributes of a man, earlier in her welcoming speech, the National President of the Afizere Cultural And Community Development Association (ACCDA) Women Wing, Mrs Mary Abok Izang appreciated the support from the Izere people, the event is to unite and bring the Izere women together as one entity to promote peace and development, she solicited for co-operation to enable them complete the project. Good will messages came from The Speaker of the Plateau state House of Assembly, right Hon. Joshua Izang Madaki, His Royal Highness,Agwom Izere, Reverend Dr. Isaac Azi Wakili, Commissioners for women Affairs and social Development, Housing, Vice Chancellor Plateau state University Bokkos Among others, the occasion was spiced by the Amata dance, weaving of baskets, pounding and presentation of food items as well as exhibition by the Women from Districts And local governments
