It’s very significant to us as people owing to his very impressive outing as a former governor of Plateau State, an elder statesman and the second Plateau son to have boldly taken the decision to run the presidential race of Nigeria after Damishi Sango who threw his intentions into the ring in 1992 under the defunct SDP. He battled the annulled elections with Chief MKO and his candidature had the blessings of the middle belt and championed by our late political father and patriarch, Chief SD Lar of blessed memory.

Baba, as you enter into the center stage of Nigeria’s battle ground and presidential hatchery, we see it as act of divinity, an act that will salvage Nigerians from the current avoidable severe poverty and anemic economy characterised by brutal abuse of the rule of law, abuse if human rights, administrative destruction of institutions, and apparent intimidation of other independent tiers of Government.
