Igbo members of the APC in Plateau State, yesterday, denied claims making the rounds that the Governor Simon Bako Lalong-led administration has abandoned them in its development strides.

Chairman of the Plateau APC Igbo, Mr Godson Blue, said the Igbo community in Plateau would not fall into the trappings of mischief makers who he said had resorted to the use of fallacies to paint the Lalong administration in bad light.

Blue said in his resolve to have an inclusive government, Governor Lalong had appointed two Igbo people each as his special adviser and senior special assistant.

“One of the supervisory councillors at the local government level is of Igbo origin who I personally took to the Eze Igbo of Jos for his blessing when she was appointed. Some of our Igbo brothers have also been given contracts in the primary education board, the MDGs, the Ministry of Works. The contract for the Tudun Wada- Kabong road was given to one of our Igbo brothers,” he said.

He, therefore, called on all the Igbo in Plateau State to support the governor in his effort of rescuing the state.
