Plateau State police command has discovered a human head and headless body cut into parts and cloaked in a bag in the city of Jos. The State Police Commissioner of Police, Mr Chris Olakpe while addressing newsmen in Jos stated that a resident who preferred not to be named reported the discovery of the bag containing the lifeless head opposite his house.

The headless body of an adult male identified as Abraham Adukuchilli Aka of Farin Gada, Jos was also discovered by detectives from “A” division of the police force. The body was cut into parts and put in a bag along Tafawa Balewa Road. Following the discovery, two people namely Usman Sarki and Ebuka Obiora were arrested in a popular hotel along Old Bukuru Park while seven others are still at large.

In another development the combined security operatives comprising the police and military arrested one Adamu Ibrahim and Usman Abdullahi for illegal dealings on assorted firearms. Olakpe stated that the suspects who were arrested while trying to sell the weapons admitted to the crime. Assorted firearms and ammunition were found hidden in the respective homes of the suspects. The police boss urged people to report suspicious activities to the security agencies.
