The House of Representatives in its plenary session of 29th June, 2021 has directed the Inspector General of Police to investigate and prosecute the murderers of the 12 people who were killed in Kuru, Jos South local government of Plateau.

The resolution was reached after a motion which brought on the floor of the House by Rep. Dachung Bagos “Motion on The Need For Urgent Intervention On The Problem Of Insecurity In Some Parts of My Constituency “.

Bagos said ” the attack which took place on a Sunday night, 13 June, 2021 claimed the lives of 12 of my constituents who were gruesomely killed in cold blood around Danchol (Sabon Layi) and Kushe, Kuru of Jos South LGA, Plateau State;

The House observed a one minute silence in solemn respect to the victims who lost their lives during the attacks.
