HON. ZIPHION TERKOP CHRYSANTHUS WITHDRAWS PETITION FROM TRIBUNAL

Hon. Ziphion Terkop Chrysanthus a former candidate for the House of Representatives for Pankshin Kanke Kanam has announced his decision to withdraw his petition from the tribunal challenging the outcome of the recent election in Pankshin Kanke Kanam House of Representatives.

In a statement released today, Hon. Ziphion thanked his supporters and the Constituents for their unwavering support during the election process and the subsequent legal process. He also expressed his gratitude to his legal team for their tireless efforts in pursuing the case.

“After much deliberation and careful consideration, I have decided to withdraw my petition from the tribunal challenging the outcome of the recent election in our constituency. This was a difficult decision to make, but one that I believe is in the best interest of my constituents and Plateau State at large,” said Hon. Ziphion.

“I remain deeply committed to serving the people of our district and will continue to work tirelessly to represent their interests and make our constituency and state a better place for all. I would like to thank my supporters for their unwavering support throughout this journey and assure them that my commitment to serving our people remains steadfast,” he added.

Hon. Ziphion also called on his supporters to remain calm and peaceful, and to continue to support the democratic process.

“I urge my supporters to remain calm and peaceful. Let us all unite and work together to build a better Plateau and a better PKK for ourselves and future generations,” he said.
