Following the release of timetable by the Plateau state Independent Electoral Commission (PLASIEC), for the conduct of local government elections in the seventeen local government areas of Plataea state, a renown politician/business man, Hon. Rotshak Gideon Yokden has thrown his hat into the Ring to contest the number one local government seat in Pankshin LGC.
Speaking to newsmen in Jos, the erudite and dogged politician expressed joy over the recent development as regards the timetable released by PLASIEC and termed it as timely. He further declared to contest for the Chairmanship position for the second time. Recall that he contested keenly in the 2018 elections and lost victoriously.
In his words, the Chairmanship aspirant said “I am deeply gladdened that the time we have been waiting for is here! I contested the position in 2018 and I am more ready and better equipped to contest again to hopefully win this time around.”
The Chairmanship hopeful further explained his reasons for contesting again as one that is borne out of sincere desire and passion to serve humanity. He further confirmed that he remains a true APC man and will still be flying under the party with the slogan “EQUAL REPRESENTATION.”

Rotshak called on his supporters back then in 2018 and all the people of Pankshin local government to rally round him for a robust and people oriented leadership in the council.
