Clears The Air Once Again On The Issue Of Federal Polytechnic Shendam And His Alleged Suspension From The Ruling APC

Appreciated The Role Of Late Sen. Longjan Put In Place Towards Fixing Lafia-Shendam And Ibi Road.

House of Representative Member, Representing Mikang, Quaanpan and Shendam federal Constituency Hon. Komsol Alphonsus Longgap was on friday hosted by NTA network news Jos and Agro FM radio station Shendam to clear the air once again on the lingering issue of Federal Polytechnic Shendam and his Alleged Suspension plan from his party, the ruling All Progressive Congress APC.

The Hon. Member, during the dual programmes, told his host and the general public that the issue of Federal Polytechnic Shendam is a done deal issue that is already signed, sealed and stamped. He said, Shendam LGA has their active and competent son as the Governor of Plateau state who is always in touch with the President. Explaining further that same Shendam LGA has their daughter as a minister and a member of the Federal Executive Council and him as a house of Representative Member, I think the case of this Federal Polytechnic to be sited in Shendam LGA has already come to stay, Hon. Komsol opined.

On his alledged suspension from the APC, Hon. Komsol described the news as laughable, because according to the Hon. Member, such campaign of calumny is sponsored by some desperate individuals looking to discredit and tarnish his image before the general public. But explained that his people have already passed a vote of confidence on him and there is nothing to worry much about.

Hon. Komsol made use of the opportunity to further inform his constituents and other citizens of Plateau state that the rehabilitation of Lafia-Shendam and Ibi road is on the pipeline as the road rehabilitation issue is captured in the 2021 budget plan. Acknowledging the role played by the late Distinguished Sen. Longjan in initiating the plan, and promise to consolidate on it alongside other federal legislators from Nasarawa and Taraba states respectively.

Hon. Komsol finally rounded up the programme by informing his constituents once more that he’s committed to their welfare and shall not be distracted by the antics and gloatings of people whose integrity is already tainted.
