It was a home coming for the true son of the soil Engr Godwin Bedir who present himself as a FACE OF TRUST to the Langshi PDP federal ward as he declared his intention to represent the yearnings and aspirations of the good people of Kanke local Government constituency in the plateau state House of Assembly come 2023.

On arrival and as Tradition demands, he went straight to Luwarang ( Palace ) Goktok where he intimated his fathers and mothers in the ruling house that he has come to officially seek first their prayers and Blessings as from here he will be moving to the ward level to declare to his ambition and intention to Represent Kanke state Constituency in the plateau state House of Assembly comes 2023.

At the Goktok Ruling House, the representative of the women, youths and elders all took out time to encourage their son and pray for him while the Ciroman Goktok Nde J.J Gontul made a pronouncements of victory as he declared the favours of God shall prevail over him , saying he shall find favour in the eyes of God and men.

The moving train now moved to pay Homage to the four village heads ( Traditional rulers) of Goktok, kaler, Munok and Langshi which make up the Langshi federal ward at a location where they gathered to recieved their son, they all wished him well, encouraged him to be peaceful in his campaign and thank stakeholders that accompanied him from Jos to the community, saying their unity in this project is a clear attestation that it is time for Langshi ward to give Kanke state constituency a voice in the state through Engr Godwin Bedir. They prayed for him and bless his Aspiration as he move to the PDP ward office.

On Arrival at the ward office where Exco, admirers, community leaders, women, youth leaders and well wishers are all gathered to welcome to join their son in his Declaration to contest the seat of the plateau state House of Assembly 2023.

Engr Godwin Bedir outlined reasons why he was in the party office and why his candidature putting side by side his manifesto encapsulates giving Kanke a resonating voice by consolidating on the proficient voices that has been produced over the years from the constituency and that he intends to make it Innovative, Reliable , and TRUST WORTHY in humility anchored in the fear of God

The PDP chairman of Langshi ward Hon Yilchini Gosar confirmed to the gathering that the Aspirant is one of the pillar of support from the ward, his consistency in party activities and his tact projection of the ward has endeared him to our hearts, he tasked the stakeholders to take their plea to Kanke party leaders across the federal wards and zones that make up Kanke LGA, saying Langshi ward is ripe to give a voice to Kanke local Government and plead with their conscience to allow equity and fairness to prevail by supporting Langshi ward, the chairman , his Exco and community leaders wish him well and prays that he returned victorious because they believe in him and his Aspiration is for a collective good.

A big catch was when Mr Danlami Sagak , a strong Youth mobiliser and a nurse by profession who works with PW Nig LTD make his way in to the hall amidst cheers, he told the gathering that he has been supporting aspirants across party divide but he has never followed any to his Declaration, this is the first time he is coming publicly and because he has known Engr Godwin Bedir as a youth with Focus and courage and call on the youths who believe in him to aggressively mobilise for ENGR GODWIN BEDIR and he declared his support to team Bedir from today till victory.

The leader of the party in the ward and former flag bearer of PDP in 2018 Local Government Chairmanship elections Hon Raymond Deshi led other strong party stakeholders to accompanied Engr Godwin Bedir whom he described as the RELIABLE ONE.

He told the ward leaders and supporters that seeing is believing and for them to accompany The aspirant home , should be an indication that this Aspiration that they are out for, is a no retreat ,no surrender .

He went further to say, for consistency in the party, logical representation, doggedness and for our voice to be heard across board Engr Godwin Bedir is the Right man for the Job. He climaxed by saying other Aspirants from the ward will come but our people have a saying that ” he who goes to River bank early in the morning to fetch water, will fetch a clean water” by this Bedir will fetch a clean water and we should all close ranks to ensure victory returns to this ward.

SP John Nimang rtd, Hon Linda kassem and Hon Regina Gambar who spoke seperately all charged the party stakeholders to unite and stand firm , insisting that they will lobby other prominent leaders on the need to allow Langshi ward to have a shot in the state Constituency , assuring them that Hon Engr Godwin Bedir is a candidate to beat by God Grace.

Hon Engr Godwin Bedir was accompanied home to his official Declaration by Hon Raymond Deshi leader of the delegation and former flag bearer PDP local Government Chairman 2018 , Nde SP John Nimang PDP elder, Hon Sam Weka former supervisory councillor for Agriculture Kanke local Government, Hon Linda kassem former plateau central zone Ex-officio PDP, Hon Regina Gambar one time councillorship aspirant and Jos base Business woman , Hon Tawe Gowok former youth leader PDP Kanke local Government, Hon koptina, also amongst others are his family, friends within and outside Kanke LGA

This is a clear indication of unity, strength, togetherness and a manifestation that BEDIR is coming 2023.
