HON. DACHUNG MUSA BAGOS FELICITATES WITH NIGERIANS ON DEMOCRACY DAY

The Member Representing Jos South/ Jos East in the National Assembly, Rep Dachung Musa Bagos is felicitating with all Nigerians at home and in the diaspora on yet another democracy day celebration.

Bagos said “Nigeria is still a work-in-progress and I believe as such, that all stakeholders and leaders of the nation must unite and discuss frankly about the true state of the nation.

We must be deliberate about the insecurity across the nation and remodel our security architecture as well as find ways of discussing calls for the succession which would have been needless if the tenets of democracy was attained and Nigerians satisfied with the kind of governance practiced in the nation.”

Bagos decried the economic lull, social insecurity, food insecurity as well as the rise in other criminal activities across the nation which he said was as a result of rising unemployment rate.

He reiterated the fact that the recent ban on Twitter was inimical to the growth and development of the nation.

While felicitating with the President, General Mohammadu Buhari, the Plateau State Governor, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Barr. Simon Bako Lalong and the Plateau State Executive Council, his constituents in Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency, and indeed, all citizens of Plateau State, Bagos prayed for a brighter, better and hopeful nation which will be unified for the growth of democracy in Nigeria.

Happy Democracy Day Nigeria!
