Wase local government area in Plateau State, stood still for several hours on Friday, to receive the people democratic party, PDP, gubernatorial aspirant, senator Gyang Nyam Pwajok, in continuation of his local governments campaign tour which commenced on Thursday in Quan pan LGA.
The event in wase was momentous and historic, it was well attended by prominent sons and daughters of Wase and Taroh land. Also the political class, traditional, religious, youths and women groups were not left out.
The event which was scheduled for 10am, it took the aspirant and his entourage over 1 hour to reach the Emir palace before proceeding to wase township stadium venue of the event due to the mammoth crowd that came out to receive him at the entrance to Wase town.

Speaking at the venue of the occasion the PDP flagbearer aspiring for Wase federal constituency, Hamisu Anani, said Pwajok experience, achievements coupled with his humility has made him become the property of all.
He then enjoined the people of Wase to come out and vote for PDP.
In his remarks the gubernatorial flagbearer thank the people of Wase for their love, support and solidarity, stressing that the large turn out of women is a sign of victory.
He also called on the youths not to betray the interest of their generation by focusing on issues of division. “Let’s live those things that divide us and focus on those things that unite us towards attaining development”.
He described the wase rally as historic and significant because it as help in bringing the people of Wase and Taroh together, noting that his election will help in breaking the barrier of religious and ethnic differences.
