Information just hitting the ViewPointNigeria news desk indicates that heavy rainfall has washed several houses and destroyed property in Dong community in Jos North area of Plateau state.

At the time of filing in this report, residents confirmed to our correspondent that many people have been displaced from their homes and were taking shelter at different make-shift locations outside the locality.

They called on Emergency Services to come to their aid with sanitary and food supplies to bring succour to children and mothers who are in desperate need of supplies.
