Jos — The Head coach of Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) table toppers, Plateau United FC of Jos, Kennedy Boboye has stated that the support of the fans, management and the state governor, Simon Bako Lalong has gone a long way in galvanizing the team to put in their best since the commencement of the ongoing football league season.
Boboye, who spoke with journalists in Jos yesterday, also said Sunday’s convincing 3-0 victory over Akwa United of Uyo was a big step towards winning the league title.
The former Abia Warriors handler noted that his team’s triumph was a morale booster ahead of their away match against Niger Tornadoes of Minna in Lokoja ty this weekend.
He praised the hard-work, commitment, dedication and perseverance of his players in their quest to win the league title for the first time in the club history, stressing that they will continue to strive hard until that is achieved.
He said, “The team will continue to approach the remaining matches will all the seriousness and attention and we must win all matches irrespective of home or away. We know nothing has been won yet, but we are determined to continue given our best until the end of the season.”
