In a new development, the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Rt. Hon. Barr. Simon Bako Lalong has directed all Heads of Boards and Parastatals in Plateau State to stand down on all employment and absorption directives issued in the last days of the Jang Administration pending the completion of the Prof. Sonni Tyoden led Transition Committee report.

The Governor however assured citizens of the State that once the committee’s work is completed and submitted to Government, the issues of employment will be revisited.

He further directed that all Heads of Boards and Parastatals who are yet to forward to the Debt Management Office and the Transition Committee their current Statement of Financial Indebtedness and Affairs respectively, to do so not later than Monday, 8^th of June, 2015.
