Gov. Lalong took a swipe on El-Rufai

The theme of the trade fair is “trade fair a platform for encouraging tourism ” is apt according to governor lalong as the government is working round the clock to boast the tourism of the state through the PPP arrangements with private sector

As governor Lalong declares the 2019 Jos trade fair open at the Polo field amidst local and and external traders, the governor in his speech took time emphasize that the government is open for investment while acknowledging that recently the state have withenessd more investors.

Lalong express the satisfaction of the state over technological strides by two plateau sons recently

But in narrative mode , the Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong took a swipe on the governor of Kaduna state, Mallam Nasiru El- Rufai by using a story of potatoes produced and called jos potatoes which was querried by the Kaduna governor to be call “Kaduna potatoes ” but the name changed ultimately destroyed the market to the extent that the potatoes lost its market until it’s change to the original name, while this story seem to be an analogy of the relationship between plateau and kaduna states over the years , the economic relationship has been antagonistic for a long time, as many historian proposed that the break out of Benue/ plateau marketing board from Kaduna during the Gomwalk administration did not go down well till date .
