Gov Lalong attends 40th Day Requiem Mass of Late Wummen at Westminster Cathedral

As part of his efforts to woo foreign direct investment to Plateau, Governor Simon Lalong is currently attending the World Travel Market Conference in London, slated for 6th – 9th November 2017.

Ahead of the event, on Sunday 5th November 2017, the Governor attended the Westminster cathedral to keep alive the memories of his late brothers – Late Wummen Bako and his Late elder who died in succession in late September and mid-October.

At the requiem mass to mark the 40th day demise of the duo, the Governor prayed for the repose of their souls and lighted candles in line with catholic traditions.

The catholic priest of the cathedral also prayed for the repose of the souls of the faithfully departed and asked that God impacts his wisdom, grace and vision on the Governor as he leads.

The service commenced at 12:00 noon and was attended by the wife of the governor, top government functionaries and well-wishers.
