The Mupun Youth Association (MYA), Abuja Chapter, successfully hosted the maiden edition of its Youth Connect 1.0 event, which featured a generous donation and a strong message from a prominent political figure. Rt. Hon. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi, Ph.D, OON, the Member representing Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Rt. Hon Gagdi admonished Mupun youths in Abuja to be good ambassadors of the Mupun Nation and the Constituency.

Though Rt. Hon. Gagdi was unable to attend due to an emergency national call to duty outside Abuja, he was ably represented by a delegation led by Pharm. Mizim D. Haruna (Dan Amanan Kanam) and his immediate past Senior Legislative Aide), in the company of Comrade Saminu Maigoro and Isiyaka Adamu Gagdi

He backed the MYA Abuja 1.0 Connect with a donation of One Million Naira N1,000,000.00). This sum also included a personal gift of Forty Thousand Naira N40,000.00) each to the three Mupun Youth Artists who performed at the program: Eric Dakwo, Tangkat La Mishkom, and Panmak Dachom.

The event served as a platform for connection, mentorship, and a reaffirmation of the importance of community representation and youth engagement in nation-building and it’s the first time it’s holding outside the capital of Jos, Plateau State.
