News reaching ViewPoint Nigeria from an impeccable source indicates that a fence at Tudun Wada clinic, a property of the state Government collapsed as a result of heavy rain storm in Jos and killed a 9 year old girl named Shallom Zakka Gompil. The tragic incident happened some days ago and the burial mass took place at the St. Moses Catholic Church Tudun Wada today 15th June 2017. ViewPoint Nigeria reports that the young lady was before her death a student of Tudun Wada Science Primary school and the collapsed fenced belongs to the Primary Health Care opposite the school. Residents of the community have expressed sadness and concern over the tragedy and called on government to expedite action in addressing the danger such fence could further pose especially in the rainy season. Meanwhile the Plateau state commissioner for education and the management committee chairman of Jos North yesterday paid a condolence visit to the family. The residents further laid emphasis on the need for government to urgently arrest the situation by building well structured fence to avoid future occurrence. In the same token, the residents are calling on the government to assist the family in their moment of pain and challenges.
