Experts have provided solutions that will end the on-going violence engulfing the state. This was disclosed at the end of a two-day workshop for Economic and Peace Development for Plateau state that was held in Jos the state capital.

Experts have provided solutions that will end the on-going violence engulfing the state. This was disclosed at the end of a two-day workshop for Economic and Peace Development for Plateau state that was held in Jos the state capital.
Participants from the economic sector, media, religious and community leadership took part in the workshop held at the Jos Business School.
A key resolution of the workshop stated that “the economic growth of a community is predicated on the peaceful co-existence of its citizens”. Government at all levels were charged to embrace policies that will be progressive to the people.
The Government was tasked on improving the poor infrastructure in the state such as power, water and road so as to reduce cost of running business on small and medium scale entrepreneurs. It stated that with an improved infrastructure, businesses will make profit, expand and employ more people which will lead to peaceful co-existence.
