Executive Chairman of Langtang south Local government Council,Hon Nimchak Rims, on Monday congratulated the Senator elect of Plateau south Professor Nora Daduut,for not only emerging victorious at the just concluded plateau southern senatorial zone by-election,but for making history as the first female to be so elected into the red chambers of the national Assembly from plateau state

In a statement he signed and made available to newsmen in Jos ,Rims said
“on behalf of the Executive, Legislative and traditional Councils, Stakeholders,the entire APC family and the good people of the Local government i congratulate Dame Professor Nora Daduut,for her victory at the polls on Saturday .

In his words “Our dear senator elect,your victory is a manifestation of the principle of politics of inclusiveness and equal representation in line with the manifesto of our great party the APC as exemplify by the leaders of our party at both the national and state levels.

We strongly believe that as an academic Professor,papal knight of the Catholic Church and a mother, your emergence to represent the good people of Plateau South in the senate will engender purposeful representation that will bring growth and
development of not only the zone but plateau as a whole and the entire country.

And as you consolidate on the gains of democracy base on the change mantra of the APC and Rescue Mission on the Plateau we are confident that the Southern Zone indeed made the right choice.
