Rep. Suleiman Kwande, member representing Jos North/Bassa federal constituency in the House of Representatives has described the action as a slap on the country democracy.

Speaking with journalists in Jos yesterday, he pointed out that ” before this drama, the federal government blamed INEC over non availability of PVCs but now they hand twisted it on the issue of insecurity. I have the belief that they are trying to truncate the elections by all means.”

He also expressed confident that the wind of change is blowing all over the country and people are yearning for change but condemned “the kind of advertorials and jingles place on states Radio and TV stations by both PDP and APC on daily basis.”

According to him, “As politicians, we should desist from politics of cheap blackmail because doing so would also generate more tension and fears in the heart of Nigerians.
