The member representing Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency, Edward Pwajok, has appealed to his Berom kinsmen in Jos South to support Governor Simon Bako Lalong to secure another mandate in the 2019 general election.

Pwajok, who recently decamped from the PDP to the APC amidst condemnation from his former party, had also served as Attorney- General and Commissioner for Justice in the state under then PDP Governor Jonah Jang.

While making the plea at a town hall meeting with stakeholders in Jos South, he said though Lalong was fully aware that people from that part of the state voted for PDP in 2015,  he has so far looked beyond political leanings and given the people important appointments.

“He gave the Berom the position of Secretary to the State Government and the position of commissioner of works among several other positions in his cabinet,” he said.

Rep. Pwajok also said past governors of the state, including Sen. Joshua Dariye and Sen. Jonah Jang had enjoyed two terms in office and therefore Lalong should get nothing less.
