The Commandant Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, Plateau State Command Alexander Bissa Barunde has assured the good people of Plateau state that adequate deployment have been made to ensure a peaceful and hitch free Easter celebration.

The Public Relations officer of the Command in the DSC Longbit Chrisantus in a Press statement signed and issued to Journalists in Jos on Thursday said a total of one thousand five hundred personnel have been deployed across the state to cater for the celebration.

The Statement added that the commandant enjoins all peace loving and law abiding citizens of the state to go about their celebration and normal business without fear of any form of disturbances and report any suspicious movement of persons or group of persons to the appropriate authority.

“The general public is by this release equally warned to desist forthwith from any plan/plans and or actions that will lead to breach of peace and break down of law and order as security agencies in the state will ensure the long arm of the law catches up with them and make they face the full wrath of the law.

The Statement however wishes all Christian faithfuls and the peace loving people of Plateau state a spirit filled and peaceful Easter celebration.
