Dr.Innocent Emmanuel declared NMA Chairman Plateau State.

The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) Plateau state chapter in line with its constitutional provision held its state chapter elections today the 30th July, 2020.

A total acrredited voters of 563 participated in the elections with the following emerging as the new exco:

Dr Innocent Emmanuel was delared unopposed other offices that went unopposed include Dr. Bapi Audu(Secretary General) Dr. Nankling Lamu (Vice Chaiperson) Datyi Chomo (PRO).

Again, offices contested for include: Tresurer, Fin-sec, Assistant Sec. Dr. Ene Jakada emerge as Treasurer, Dr Mbwas Mashor emerge as Financial Secretary while Dr. Naca Innocent Nababa as Assistant Secretary.

The outgoing Chairman , Dr. Dajel while handing over congratulates the new set of Exco and promise that he will be available at all times to assist the new Exco in the discharge of thier duties.

The new Chairman promises to liase with all stakeholders and all members to advance the cause of NMA plateau state. “nobody will be relegated” the Chairman promises.

“We shall ensure that NMA plateau state is great” the New Chairman promise amidst cheers from the few delegates that remain to the end.

The elections is conducted amidst tight observance of the covid-19 protocol .
