Fellow Nigerian youths , I might be wrong or right which ever way it is give me a privilege to speak to your conscience.

Nigerian youths , most importantly my fellow plateau youths are classical example of Agile , courageous , meticulous, industrious and productive calibre of young leaders which time has come to explore as we roll down to 2019 ,we may either choose to change the narrative and right the wrongs or still maintain the status quo of follow -follow syndrome and continue to wallow in agony .

Youths of independent minds have so far galvanised and already have succinctly packaged themselves by surmounting weighty courage to run for different political offices both local and national offices but then , I must vent my displeasure in what I described as ( SHARED HATRED) amongst most of the peers of the front liners of the young political gladiators are youths which to me will further bring to fore the belief of some few elders who have within their own purview thinks we are not ready for leadership which in it true sense we are over qualified , though they knew and know we are ready but they used such trivial and careless words to further discouraged us while others ( the youths ) at the slightest error of any of their brother physically or online ( social media) either consciously or unconsciously , knowingly or unknowingly will used it from their identical prism and capitalised quickly by saying in quote ” I can see the youths are not truly ready ” . while such elders will loom at it with much admiration in their mind simply because they are not ready to shift ground for the youths which time has come will be happy, while many of us who feels there is need to disbelief such condensed and infiltrated minds will be dissapointed at such comments .

Though interestingly, we have elders who in their own rights are youths at heart even more than the youths, Drumming and canvassing supports for the youths to take over from them having undergone intense and rigorous tutoring under their watched , God bless them we need much of such elders .

The journey might be seemingly rough but to the gladiators never give up , if the Bible tells us that if human beings cannot worship God he will raise stones to worship him and I ask God that even if the youths will not admire their fellow youth and support them God will convince the elders , women and other youths who belief our time has come to support the youths. We might not all be featured but we can support , if you can’t support , pray for them to bring this reality to bear .

Some have argued why the interest is placed more on politics much more than youths taking centre stage on Businesses and academia?? Yes you might be wrong or right it depends, but to my understanding I realised that we cannot get it right in other fields ( Business etc) without first getting it right in politics with right politicians moderating at the helms of affairs bringing and injecting rights policies and programs to create a favourable environment for Businesses, academics or ICT etc to thrive. You might belief with me that most of the former politicians and some present leaders are product of analog age . we are of the internet age found in the global village and of course we know our problems and we can fix it with the nurtured mind of global age though we still have good leaders and elders who are doing well but if you have trained youths in mentorship its time you hold their hands and bequeath to them their own generation for it is said he who wears the shoe knows where it pinches ( its our global village let us have it ). While many youths has been clamouring for youths participation , some ( youths ) are still in their shadow of thinking the youths are not ready. I need not to remind you of the Gowon’s and Gomwalks of this state whose assumed leadership of this nation at their youthful age , which history has recorded they did marvelously well and we still call their names at any slightest given opportunity as example of what Good qualitative ideas and leadership entails.

They never achieved such greatness as elders but youths .

To conclude ,I will advice the youths to sieve within their peers those who have been tested and trusted in one way or the other and throw support for them by encouraging them as 2019 beckon.

We should not mock our brothers, friends and comrades with careless words as , how much ( money )does he have ? Did he think this is SUG election ? When did he finished students politics that he want to hold political office ? Etc. If we understands the power of our thump I belief nothing can stop the youths which time has come that is only when we go by the mathematical calculation of one youth to one elder which overwhelming the youths constitute 60 percent of the population of every community and we can learn from our past JD Gomwalks of this world, unlearn from the Adolf Hitler of this world and Re-learn from Gowon’s of this world.

To drop my pen , if you don’t have money to support them , pray for them , if you can’t pray for them , use social media and campaign for them and if you are not in their constituency , you can tell someone to tell someone to support someone. I’m not saying all youths should be supported , Identify those that are capable and support them and flush out those that are intellectually , morally, selfishly and fanatically handicap .

We must begin to appreciate ourselves and sing our songs ( because elders cannot sing our songs the way we do for them ) else no one can do it for us .

Lets shun ( SHARED HATRED ) and chant solidarity song to one another.
